Real-Time Weather Layer Architecture Enters Integration
PCS Observatory is building a unified switching architecture for clouds, rain, temperature, and wind layers.

The PCS Observatory weather layer uses a Cloudflare Worker as a data proxy so service credentials are not exposed in the public frontend. The first stage focuses on clouds, rain, temperature, and wind while retaining source time and explicit loading-error states.
These layers visualize source observations; they are not automatically equivalent to a PCS L(t) estimate. Unit, temporal-resolution, and spatial-resolution harmonization remain necessary.
