The next PCS stage will strengthen ocean and cryosphere observations, including sea-surface temperature, sea-level change, Arctic sea ice, glacier mass, and regional snowmelt. These observations may map simultaneously to Thermal, Flow, and Structural residuals, so no single indicator is sufficient.
The model will preserve provenance, baseline periods, and uncertainty, using cross-comparison for system analysis rather than deriving long-term conclusions from short-term variation.
