PCS Observatory Deep Space Preview Is Now Live for Testing
PCS Observatory has activated its Deep Space preview entry, beginning interface testing for observation scales beyond Earth, the Moon, and the planets.

The Deep Space preview is now available for testing in PCS Observatory. A new Deep Space entry has been added to the Observation Body selector within the Solar System Observatory, alongside the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Earth, the Moon, Mars, and the outer planets.
This test begins establishing a continuous observation path: Earth system → Moon and planets → Solar System → deep space. The long-term direction is to help users examine relationships across multiple scales within one connected framework, progressively extending toward the boundary of the Solar System, interstellar space, the Milky Way, and the wider observable-universe context.
The current release is a Preview test. Its immediate purpose is to validate the Deep Space transition within the existing Observation Body framework, test the interface hierarchy required when moving from planetary to deep-space scales, and establish positions for future deep-space objects, missions, distances, and observational datasets.
This release does not mean that Deep Space is complete. Deep-space sources, scale representation, orbital relationships, time systems, physical models, and analytical functions remain under development and validation. PCS will continue to distinguish visual previews, sourced observations, model output, and validated results.
The principles remain unchanged: no fabricated data, no model output presented as observation, and no unvalidated prediction.
